Let's taste while having fun! Florence is an open-air museum: every street we walk, every alley or square where we get lost, talk and tell us about history, art and famous people. The same roads that Leonardo da Vinci, Raffaello Sanzio and Michelangelo Buonarroti walked on! This tour offers an experience focused on wine and the centuries-old relationship with the city of Florence and Tuscany. Food-wine relationship as an expression of regional culture. The route includes two tastings with wines accompanied by food, in two different historical environments; as old as they are fascinating and equipped with the greatest Tuscan wines and more. The ways of how to cultivate vineyards, the secrets of wine making in cellars and the great innovations of the last century, allow us today to be able to satisfy our palate with thousands of different labels: which will be your favorite?
In total, six glasses of wine will be served — three for each room — and the choice varies according to availability and season. These are exclusively Tuscan wines, both white and red (with the possibility of some rosés or bubbles). We will talk about tasting the most famous DOCGs such as Chianti Classico, Vernaccia di San Gimignano, Nobile di Montepulciano and Brunello di Montalcino; of the great “Supertuscan” IGT and the great DOC of the Tuscan coast. Always keeping in mind that this is not a technical tasting but only a sensory game, we will have fun discovering our favorite taste (even more than one), letting ourselves be transported in a very deep journey of the senses. The beauty of wine is that there is always a better one!
